The steamship Virginia, built by M. Pearse & Co., Stockton in 1874 and owned at the time of her loss by A. Fokias, was a Greek steamer of 1.065 tons.
On May 29th, 1915, Virginia, on voyage to Trieste in ballast, was sunk by the Austrian submarine U-12, 5 miles northwest from Capo Salvore (Italy).
